Financial Aid

Should I Apply for Need-Based Financial Aid?

If you will find it difficult to pay full tuition, we invite you to apply for financial aid through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Service. You must submit your Admission Application before an award determination will be made. Applications for financial aid are considered based on need and available funding—submitting an application does not guarantee you will receive aid. Eden does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin.

Family income eligibility: Due to the many factors considered in a financial assessment, we do not offer an eligibility formula. You must apply to be considered for financial aid. Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration.

Student eligibility: Aid is awarded to students in Grades K–12 only. Preschool and prekindergarten aid may be available from organizations listed on this page under IMPORTANT LINKS.

How to apply: Submit an application through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Service. (See “How to Apply for Financial Aid” below).

Application fee: $35, payable to “FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Service”

When to apply: For mid-April early award notification, apply by March 15. For mid-May notification with tuition statement, apply by April 15. Applications will still be accepted after April 15, but funding is limited. Note that the first tuition payment is due June 1.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Step 1: Begin your application HERE. First-time applicants will create a user name and password so you can save your application and return to it.

Step 2: Read and complete each section carefully. In Section 2 for the school city, state & zip code, enter the address of our administrative offices, “Pittsburgh, PA 15237”. Below the school, select the organization, "Children's Tuition Fund - Pennsylvania".

Step 3: Pay the $35 fee by credit card or with your bank account and routing number.

Step 4: Submit your application.

Step 5: The tax documents needed to verify your application are listed on the checklist at the end of the application. Your application will not be complete until all documents have been submitted. They may only be uploaded to the FACTS website. FACTS will not accept documents via postal mail, fax, or email.

Step 6: If your local public school has been identified as a low-achieving school (ranking in the bottom 15 percent of public schools), making students within its boundaries eligible for OSTC scholarship funds, submit a copy of your notification letter from your school district to the Financial Administrator. (OSTC-eligible families are not guaranteed to receive aid and will be processed under the same guidelines as all other families. However, your letter enables ECA to properly allocate OSTC funds to those eligible families.)

Questions? FACTS Customer Care 1-866-441-4637, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to assist or answer questions about your application.
