"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
Children are flourishing in God's love and in the care of Christ-following faculty and staff at ECA.
God’s Word is not just mentioned once a week in chapel. It is integrated into every class at every grade level and lived out daily by our faculty, staff, and administrators. Everything at Eden is taught from a biblical perspective.

Day-to-day, this means that while second grade students are learning about place values and money in math class, they are also discovering what the Bible tells us about money, responsibility, and giving. Sixth graders are learning the importance of religious freedom while they study the colonization of America in history. And, when 11th grade students dissect a starfish in biology, they are exploring the wonders and intricacies of God’s creation.
Missions Week 2026
For over 35 years, Eden has dedicated a week each February to spiritual formation opportunities for our students centered around worship and service.
Recently, the Leadership Team reflected on the numerous ways our students receive spiritual enrichment, and we recognized an important next step. While it is essential to be filled spiritually, it is equally vital to give back to others. As a result, we have refined both the focus and the name of this significant time in student life. Spiritual Enrichment Week will now be referred to as Missions Week.
This change reflects our belief that spiritual growth and missions are interconnected. As students deepen their understanding of who God is, we also want them to recognize that He is active in the world and that He invites His people to engage in His work wherever the gospel is proclaimed. Missions Week will offer spiritually enriching activities while placing a renewed emphasis on living gospel-centered and missions-minded as students learn and grow in following Jesus Christ.

The Director of Spiritual Formation at Eden Christian Academy, Ben Potter, guides the Bible departments at the upper and lower campuses, shaping the vision and direction for school-wide programs. This includes developing the curriculum, integrating biblical teachings, supporting weekly chapel sessions, and running small group Bible studies—all in line with Eden’s mission. The Director explores new partnerships and opportunities to expand students' worship, discipleship, and spiritual growth through on-campus activities, service learning, retreats, and spiritual enrichment days.

This year, we've launched a new initiative to strengthen our Koinonia through the memorization of God’s Word. Fighter Verses is a weekly scripture memory plan designed to equip students, families, and staff with powerful Bible verses to “fight the good fight of faith.” Each week at the Upper School, a new verse is introduced in Bible classrooms, encouraging our community to meditate on and memorize God’s truth together. Fighter Verse Week of 05/10
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ²Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. ³For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. - Colossians 3:1-3

2025 Mission Trip to Costa Rica
We are so grateful for the answered prayers during our eight-day mission to Costa Rica, where 49 participants safely traveled, built three houses, and worshipped with the local church in Pavas.
Sharing gifts collected by the Eden community and spending time with the children through Bible stories and crafts was deeply moving.
Over three days, the team worked joyfully to build homes, ending with a heartfelt ceremony as families received their keys. Seeing their joy reminded us how powerful it is to serve and share Christ’s love.
As Hannah Wallace, an ECA Junior, shared, “Throughout this past week, houses were built, lives were changed, friendships were made, and above all, the love of Jesus Christ was shared.”
