Eden Christian Academy is one school with three campuses, providing a distinctly Christian education to students in preschool 3 through grade 12. Founded in 1983, ECA has elementary campuses, preschool 3–grade 6, in Ross Township and Wexford, and an upper school campus, grades 7–12, in Ohio Township.

Is Eden an accredited school?
Yes, ECA holds dual accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.
Are Eden teachers certified?
Yes, Eden teachers are certified. 33 percent of our faculty hold master’s degrees as well. To maintain their certification, faculty must take professional and Biblical continuing education units.
Is Eden affiliated with a specific church or denomination?
No, Eden is an independent, board-run Christian school. Our students come from 140 churches in the Pittsburgh area.
Do you have a hot lunch program?
Yes, hot lunches can be pre-ordered and are available every day. Milk is also available for purchase daily.
Is there a Bible class at Eden?
Yes, Bible class is taught each day. More importantly, Biblical truths are integrated in all aspects of Eden’s curriculum and applied in every class and every grade level.
Do you have openings next year?
We are currently accepting applications for all campuses and grade levels. While we do anticipate some capped classes, waitlists will be determined based on overall enrollment and updates will be communicated to affected families in real time.

How long does the enrollment process take?
Once an application is submitted, you can expect a 4-6 week timeline to complete all of the steps required to make a decision. First round of acceptance decisions will be communicated in mid-March, with the process continuing through spring and into early summer.
What is the deadline for 2026-2027 applications?
All applications must be submitted by July 15 in order to allow enough time to complete the process before the start of the school year.
