Volunteers are integral to the success of Eden Christian Academy.
We deeply respect and encourage the many efforts of our exceptional volunteers who give so willingly of their time to the students and staff! Eden encourages and promotes school volunteering in order to expand and enhance partnership with our parents and community involvement within our school while maintaining safety and security for students and staff.
Volunteer Using SignUp
We're using SignUp to organize our volunteer schedules. Here's how it works in 3 easy steps:
- Click the campus-specific link to see each calendar on SignUp.
- Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.
- Sign up! It's easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.
Note: SignUp does not share your email address with anyone.

- Log into your Family Portal account
- Click on Family (on left side)
- Above the Service Hours box, click the drop down arrow to select the name of the parent that performed the volunteer hours
- Click on Add+
- Fill in appropriate informational boxes
- Log each date of service separately
- Be sure to click Save
Volunteer Policy & Clearances
Under Act 15 of 2015, which amends the provisions of the PA Child Protective Services Law, certain clearances are required for ALL volunteers that provide care, supervision, guidance or control of a child or children. In compliance with the law, any Eden volunteer in this capacity must provide all required clearances along with the signed ECA Volunteer Registration Form prior to the first day that volunteer services are provided.
