God's Word, Every Day
At Eden Christian Academy, God’s Word is not merely mentioned once a week in chapel. It is integrated into every class at every grade level and lived out daily by our faculty, staff, and administrators.
Everything at Eden is taught from a biblical perspective.
Day-to-day, this means that while second grade students are learning about place values and money in math class, they are also learning about what the Bible says about money, responsibility, and giving. Sixth graders learn the importance of religious freedom while they study the colonization of America in history. And, when 11th grade students dissect a starfish in biology, they are also learning about the intricacies of God’s creation.
Students participate in chapel services once a week at all three Eden campuses, and the entire Eden community gathers each year for an all-school chapel service. These are times of worship and teaching. Students also participate in a number of outreach and service activities throughout the year where they put their faith into action.
Spiritual Enrichment Week, set aside each year in February, is filled with interactive opportunities for students to grow in faith. This Eden tradition engages both the heart and mind of students through special chapels, guest speakers, activities, and service projects.
