Your gift to Eden Christian Academy is an investment in a Christ-centered educational experience for today's students and tomorrow's leaders.
Following are a few of the many ways you can support Eden students and faculty.
Direct donations may be made in any of the following ways:
Mail your check or money order to Eden Christian Academy, Attn: Financial Administrator, 206 Siebert Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237
Donate with a credit card by clicking the Donate Now button above
Set up a monthly debit from your checking account by contacting Rose Weir at 412-364-8055
The applicable income-tax deduction reduces the actual cost of the gift.
You may be able to direct corporate Pennsylvania tax dollars to Eden to provide children an opportunity for a positive school experience and a choice in their education. Many companies are designating their state tax liability to provide tuition aid through these programs at no cost to their businesses. Please consider joining them to open the doors of affordability for more low- and middle-income families to choose Eden. CLICK HERE for more information.
By transferring securities you own, you can avoid capital gains taxes and still deduct the full-market value of the stocks, bonds, or mutual funds.
A contribution of real estate, valuable collections, or other asset that Eden may sell can generate a tax deduction equivalent to the proceeds and save on capital gains taxed at higher rates than if you sell it yourself.
Many companies will match the charitable contributions of their employees. Simply check with your human resources office and submit a matching-gift form to Eden.
If you desire to make a gift to Eden and receive a guaranteed fixed income for life, a charitable gift annuity is an ideal planning option. Under the professional administration and backing through Eden's affiliation with the Pittsburgh Foundation, we can help design a plan with current and long-term benefits for both you and the academy.
Through a will, trust or life insurance policy, you may name Eden Christian Academy as a beneficiary for a percentage or fixed amount after death. When families demonstrate generosity through a deferred or planned gift, it's a special tribute to the way lives have been transformed through their Eden experience. It also ensures the donors' intentions are carried out after this life in order to benefit future generations of students.
We would be happy to provide further information or meet with you and/or your professional advisor about any of these giving opportunities.
Please contact Chuck Smullin or Jennifer Miess at 412-364-8055 to discuss advancing your interests and the mission of Eden Christian Academy.
