Is ECA an accredited school?

Yes, ECA holds dual accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.

Are ECA teachers certified?

Yes, ECA teachers are certified.  Thirty percent of our faculty hold master’s degrees as well. To maintain their certification ECA faculty must take professional continuing education units and Biblical continuing education units.

Is Eden affiliated with a specific church or denomination?

No, Eden is an independent, board run Christian school. Our students come from around 100 churches in the Pittsburgh area. Eden is also endorsed by over 60 evangelical churches in the area. Our board is made up of parents from all three campuses that are also from different denominations.

Do you have a hot lunch program?

Yes, a hot lunch choice is brought in every day from different area restaurants. We offer such choices as Chick-Fil-A, China House, Pizza Hut, and Moe’s Mexican Grill.  Milk is also available for purchase daily.

Is there a Bible class at Eden?

Yes, we do have a Bible class taught each day. However, we have also woven Biblical truths in to all aspects of our curriculum and apply it throughout the school day as well. 

Is Eden one school or three schools?

Eden is one school with three locations, each with its own feel and identity. All campuses come together throughout the year for all-school chapel services, the family picnic and the walk-a-thon. The elementary campuses also join together for youth and intermediate sports programs.
